I used to be Jesus was the Christ and Savior to mankind. But the more I live in this world and see the many atrocities from all sides, Christians killing Muslims, Muslims killing Christians, Muslims killing Jews, Jews killing Muslims, Christians killing Christans and Muslims killing muslims. It makes wonder even more if religion is just a social construct to put the mass population under some type of "moral" control.
The belief in a supreme being is one thing, but why do Christians revere Jesus more than God. Why would God need to reincarnate himself to be born to Mary and Joseph and then subsequently die on the cross to (and for) mortal man.
Even Jewish people don't consider Jesus the Messiah or Savior. And Muslims consider Jesus a prophet and not the Son of God.
If Jesus was a historically figure then he would have been a man from that era looking like Jewish person who could blend in with the population of Egypt. See link below....

Yes. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour.
2 Peter 1:11 - For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 2:20 - For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2 Peter 3:2 - That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2 Peter 3:18 - But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

I find it odd how people get thumbs down for saying no. Anyways, I believe jesus existed but I don't believe in the saviour thing. You can be a very humble and godly person, but get sent to hell for not believing in jesus...I'm sorry, I'm not buying that.

I don't as a supernatural being but if he existed some of his ideas were cool. I like his sermon on the mount stuff. Its hard to know how much of what is portrayed as his teachings in the Bible is really his words if he was real though versus Paul's, unless you are able to accept the divine revelations part.

I do, but my beliefs would be irrelevant if I did not follow his teachings and show others by actions and examples rather than by using words.
Edit: In response to shakespeare (below me) God does not damn the ignorant, although they are judged by their capacity to love others and forgive.
I don't pretend to understand God, I just go by what "The Good News" tells us.
