A man comes up tand knocks on your door. You have never seen him before, but he is normal and unremarkable looking.
He has a huge suitcase with him filled with cash and a piece of paper.
If you cut your hand and drip blood on the paper and sign it, you will get the suitcase (figure 10 million bucks).
The paper reads:
By signing this in blood the seller hereby sells his soul to the owner of the paper.
Now, do ya cut your pinky and sign the paper?

Hmm.. i asked a simple question. I said nothing about a devil or anything like that.
As for definition of soul, how about
1. the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part.
2. the spiritual part of humans regarded in its moral aspect, or as believed to survive death and be subject to happiness or misery in a life to come
that works for me.

A rather poor guess on your part.
My comment about the devil was in response to other peoples answers.

Since there is no such thing as a soul I would be very happy to sell it to this obviously delusional millionaire.

totally, man, without a doubt!
now, before you take that as evidence that atheists are just money hungry or cheap or whatever, let me remind you, as a philosopher, that this concept of a 'soul' that can be sold or is a unity or whatever, is by no means established. nor will it ever be established.
i mean, think back to Philosophy 101, when we all (you DID take philosophy class, didn't you? i mean, you play very fast and easy with the metaphysics, so i assume you must have) studied theories of identity and separateness. the soul was just one of these theories, and, indeed, by no means the best one either.
so, given that the soul has lost ground among most philosophers, including philosophers of religion such as myself, i would sell my soul for 10 million without a second thought. and, if i turn out to be wrong, and christianity is real, well, then, god will forgive me, because, and i refer you to the gospel of matthew, 'there is only one sin that will never be forgiven, and that is cursing god'. i rest safe in the knowledge that god is merciful and just (or is that from the koran...ah, yes, it is, al'lah the merciful, the compassionate...very good)

i'm not likely to handle the validity of the user-friendly question yet i will take exception to the implication interior the midst of your question that atheists at the instant are not ethical. you're appearing like atheists are unethical human beings, cheating human beings, vengeful human beings, stingy and egocentric human beings. for specific, some atheists are this way, according to risk even plenty, yet to advise that it is the character of all atheists is purely downright incorrect and bigoted. faith isn't the only source of goodness. purely about all religions declare the monopoly on distinctive function yet each and all the religions that do that are thoroughly deceptive. someone could be an extremely honest and hardworking and affected person and beneficiant person without believing in a god/or God.

What in the world this has to do with atheists is beyond me but to answer your question:
Hell yes!
The guy is obviously a nut job. I'll take the money and run and he can have the stinky piece of paper, I'm no fool.
However, you are if you think this has anything to do with "signing your soul to the devil"

Occam's razor demands that the chances of actually getting 10 million dollars for doing essentially nothing are so small that there has to be a problem. Tell you what: Just ask me to say "I give my soul freely to whoever you care to mention, right now". I would say it without a second thought as it means nothing.

No, I wouldn't do that! What would be the benefit of having 10 million, or any amount, if I had to forfeit my soul to obtain it? Why didn't you ask this question of christians? They already demonstrate a more vulnerable and self-serving quality.

Yup.
I already gave my soul to my husband when I married him.
So I'll fraudulently sell it to this guy, who'll be none the wiser, then I can donate all that cash and feed some hungry kids for a very long time.

sure, what is printed on the paper is meaningless, and I can use 10 million dollars
I would also do it the paper said something like "I hereby sell my soul to the Easter Bunny" etc as that would also be meaningless
