In my humble opinion - no, you should not take motrin two hours after taking tylenol. If you still have a fever 2 hours later you need to get into a tepid (lukewarm) tub and try to bring the fever down that way. How old is the person with the fever? How long have they had the fever? How high is the fever?
If the person is very young (under 5) I would call the doctor. If the fever has been around more than 48 hours, I would call the doctor. If the fever is 104 degrees (101 for infants/toddlers) I would go to the ER.

If you have a high fever and are trying to bring it down, doctors (mine included), will sometimes recommend 'piggy-backing' motrin and tylenol , one every two hours until the fever breaks.

tylenol is every four hour... use tylenol as the middle... motrin as the mark motrin lasts longer, once every eight hours use tylenol as the supplement... (check the label!!!)
if you have a fever that lasts longer than 24 hrs. and youre an adult, seek medical attention... if this is a child or infant...
seek medical attention immediately... children dehydrate a whole lot quicker ... you think youve got it under controll, and then ,,, look out.... its out off your hands... seek medical attention... good luck!
