If homosexuality is a birth defect than it is probably caused by toxins. This would be a modern experience. Its origin is in lust and in days of ancient Greece ect... lust was a part of the culture. Lust is way different from love. In days before the 20th century homosexuality was discussed as a purely sexual experience. It is only in modern times that love has been a part of the definition.
I have no problem with homosexual marriage as it is none of my business what others choose. However if it is from birth as many claim then it is a birth defect as it is impossible for the human species to continue if every one is homosexual.
My guess is that homosexuality is a human creation made from toxins or toxic human relationships that leave scars. Many "from birth" gays are from parents who had toxic relationships when the gay person was a young child. If it is from birth defects it is all the more reason to not judge.
No matter what, gay people are not hurting any one. The only thing I have difficulty with is anyone, homosexual or straight, having sex without regard to love. This leads to many social and emotional scars. It is those who treat sex as casual that do the damage.
So, no, I don't think God created homosexuality but I also don't believe He hates gays. All are His children and He calls us to love no matter our choice of person to love. Love is love and God is love.

Did God make a mistake when He made thieves? Should we accept them? Did God make a mistake when He made liars, murderers, child molesters and rapists? Should we accept them. You must understand that we have a choice to steal, though some might be more tempted then others. We have a choice to kill and some may find it easier than others, to murder. We have a choice to commit perverted sex acts or not, and some may be tempted more than others. We have a choice to be a liar and some may find it enjoyable to be able to deceive others. We have a choice and God will allow us to choose between right and wrong. These things I have mentioned are all the same, they are all SIN.

God does not make mistakes! He is perfect. if He made mistakes, how could he call himself a God. God gave everyone the gift of free choice in all that they do. when u r born, we dont know our sexuality. but as we grow older, we CHOSE the path that we wish to take.
God didnt force them to become gays, they had their right to chose and that choice is influenced by the culture around them and their own sinful thoughts. God commands us not to become gay so thus, He had given us an order there and did NOT create gay ppl. if He had created gay ppl, then He wouldnt have given the commandment to guide us from that sin! it's shameful and those ppl need help. we must pray for them but not discriminate against them.

There is nothing wrong with gays. It is completely natural. The lady and laod did not make a mistake. People who are against gays are making a mistake by not having an open mind.

God did not make gays gay. He simply gave us free will. Gays like others of their same sex God did not decide to make one person gay and another straight, the gays made that decision. Plus being gay is a sin, so why would God make people gay on purpose?

No, evil is simply a deviation from God's original plan and design|
It is like asking if God made a mistake because people are born with cystic fibrosis|
According to Christian teaching, all evil has come to man because of his rejection of God's will in eating the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden|
This was not something *imposed* upon man by God as a result of his disobedience in the way that a parent may impose punishment on a child for an infraction| It is simply the natural result of that infraction, just as blindness is the natural result of putting out an eye|
For when Adam rebelled, his union with God was ruptured, so his intellect and will were no longer united to God.
As a result, with the proper governor taken away, they went their own way, into disorder, with all the negative effects on the body because of the profound union between body and soul.
This was passed down to all Adam's descendants (us), just as his integrity would have been passed down to us if he had not sinned.
So that explains all disorder, suffering, disease, problems in human relationships that we have today|
Christianity, of course teaches that Jesus Christ redeemed us, but by God's will, we still have many of the effects of original sin to struggle with in our lives, as that, for those being saved, constitute their battle that wins eternal life for them|

God didn't "Make Gays." Humans did. Homosexuality is a choice. A lifestyle. Why? Because there is no trace of two men creating a "Son." No religion, no history. It is common that man and woman connect, because they can reproduce. Now on that, stick two men or women on an stranded Island, and they will die. Period.

God made all f us for His purposes. He did not make people gay, that is the result of the free will. God loves us all, and we should love each other too. That does not make it OK to sin that we make it acceptable by society.

My son was born gay. I knew he was different from about the age of two. He is now 27 and has a great career in the fashion industry. He has 2 brothers near then same age. It was always easy for me to make comparisons while they were growing up. He is the apple of my eye, and a shining star in our family. Gay or straight, we are all God's children. We are who we were meant to be. No one can ever convince me otherwise.
