I bought some buttermilk pancake mix and I don't have a clue how to make it. Please include the little details in making them. Thanks.

It is the kind you get at sprouts. It doesn't come in a box, it is the bag you use for fruit. There are NO instructions the bag is CLEAR. Homemade pancakes is what I am looking for. Believe me if it came in a box I wouldn't be asking

The mix may be the kind you just add water to so maybe try with 1 cup of the pancake mix and 3/4 cup of water. Mix together until there are no large lumps, but the batter will be stiff. Ladle into a fry pan with a little cooking oil or butter. Flip over to lightly brown both sides.
If it is the kind of mix you have to use milk, egg and oil then try
1 cup mix, 3/4 cup milk,1 egg and 2 Tablespoons oil. Mix well and fry.
You may just have to experiment with it until you get it right, but I would try it with water only first.

Perhaps u should take it back for a refund? There are some kinds of pancake mix where you add oil, eggs, water but some other kinds only require water. So this mystery powder was probably a bad idea. I would suggest you get Aunt Jemima or Bisquick...or even Jiffy cornbread mix makes good pancakes.

I agree with making pancakes from scratch. Those box mixes taste like garbage, and are more expensive than making your own! Any cookbook has recipes, and you can search online for recipes.
