Yes. It is very possible to be a carrier but not have active Hepatitis.

Usually if you have the antibody it means your body is fighting off the virus. If it does this successfully, then no you will not get the virus.

With many viruses, it is possibly to be a carrier but not actually have symptoms of the disease. It depends on every individual's particular immune system. Some people are better in fighting off the disease than others.

considering there are over 4 million infected with hcv and out of that percentage about 15% were able to fight it off, chances are, you are chronic active.....sad, but true.
