Men in general are not dumb, now your man may be but he doesn't speak for all men. If you do things for him it should be from hte bottom of your heart and not just to get something in return. Not to say that is your motive but I just had to say that. But think about it this way before you guys got married did he do things for you like that? If the answer is no then you should not be complaining too much because you already know how he acts.

Men arent dumb, we just dont catch on as quick as women. You got to realize that men and women have different features. Tell him why you were upset and hopefully he'll understand. If he doesnt then you have the right to call him dumb, but dont call all men dumb.

men and women the eternal question sweetie they are not dumb neither are we..... we have the rib that contains DNA- stop and ask for directions! shop and pay half price instead of full price on an in out trip to store! Seat goes down an d toilet paper faces the seat not the wall!!!! Face it if they were like us we wouldnt have half as much fun at coctail parties!

I don't have any idea what you're talking about. Are you griping because he didn't give you a present? If you're keeping a scorecard to determine who's winning the gift-giving contest, you've got problems other than your hubby being dumb.

the point of doing something nice for someone is to do it and not expect anything in return..... if he sees that this is the case. then maybe someday he will suprise you out of the blue with something totally great and then yay thats how a relationship works.... u shouldn't always have to be rewarded for doing nice things for other people sometimes its better to give then receive? any of that ring a bell?

It's not like all men are dumb. Men are just as likely to be dumb as women. Don't stereotype, it's not nice.

Men in particular aren't dumb... possibly ignorant, but not dumb.

What were you looking for?
Did you do for your husband because you love him and wanted to, or because you were looking for something in return?

As for your question, I don't know.
I'm a man, and I can't seem to do anything right @ home either.
