are not really material places, why is it so difficult to admit the possibility of them being just an idea, a fable, a way of leading people towards goodness instead of evil?
If bible is full of symbols who decides what is the symbol and what the real thing?

they are fables like you said, it is hard for people to say that because if you believe in religions then you get to live forever.

They are real places. We on earth think of all things as "material" which in fact they are not. Heaven and Hell do exsit. but who knows if they are "material places" and the only way to get there is by dieing which when the time comes then you will either go to heaven or hell... good people that did good things to heaven and bad people that did bad things to to hell.

Heaven and Hell are actual physical places... just not in this Universe... that would place them in another dimension of some sort... clearly beyond our comprehension
