Pure olive oil is more acidic. Extra virgin should be around .8% acid and pure is around 1.5%. Easiest way to check is to go to the grocery store and look at the label on both, should all be there.

Just remember, they both have the same amount of calories in them, and they full of calories, olive oil isn't all that it is cracked up to be. 1909 calories per cup. that boils down to about 120 calories per TABLESPOON, so a lot. It might be better for you, or is it??
