Some day Earth as we know it will change. What do you think the new Earth will be like when Jesus comes here and is the ruler for 1000 years while Satan is chained?

Depends on whether Jesus hires a really good decorator.

The best ones are gay, so that puts him in rather a difficult position, doesn't it?

The Bible, God's word and plan in print, does reveal this to some depth. We (well some of us) know Jesus returns with His saints to establish a Kingdom which is incorruptable and everlasting. This happens at the beginning of the 7th millennium. Satan is bound and put away for this duration. However, this is not yet the New Earth that you inquire about. In the beginning of this 1,000 year time period, Christ comes in wrath (The Day of The Lord). There will even be resistance (as is human nature to do) on the part of some countries as Christ with His Saints begin to restructure government over the earth. But as more and more see how living God's ways brings true health, prosperity, and happiness, and how resistance only brings pain and suffering (as we see today), more will submit themselves to this way of life that Christ brings. There WILL be war to begin with. There WILL be death. But, after the entire world gives in and submits to Christ's authority and blessings, there will be peace for the remainder of the 1,000 year period. There will be peace and prosperity such as this world has never known. We wont be polluting and raping our environment for the sake of greed and impatience. A new way of living will effect the earth in all positive ways. We are also told that the animals will no longer be wild. Imagine having a pet lion, or swimming with a great white shark! The earth will be plentiful and I believe we will see a beauty that hasnt been since the creation. Now... there WILL be another Earth after this time. But you have to understand the fullfillment of God's plan. Mankinds true potential. It isnt to be perfect pieces of flesh. It is to become members of the God family. Real life is not made of matter, but of spirit. God is REAL life. Spirit beings are REAL life if you follow my meaning. Not this flesh and blood and stuff made of material. God tells us that the Kingdom is not physical. It is everlasting, eternal. This physical earth, is not eternal. It cant be because it is phsyical. When God's plan is fullfilled, the New Heavens and the New Earth and New Jerusalem, will all be spiritual. It may be hard to grasp, but look at it this way, God sits on a throne right? Is it physical? No. Its a throne made of something not of physical matter, but spirit matter if you will. So there will be a new Earth, one made of spirit matter. It will be absolutely PERFECT by the ALMIGHTY's standards. And it will be everlasting. What will THAT look like? Well, the bible does not say, other than the description of New Jerusalem. I guess, that is God's surprise for His family to come. =) In the meantime, we can have fun thinking about it and imagining what it will be like. Oh.. and it will be perfect to us too, because we will be at one with God just as Jesus is at one with God. Perfect harmony, pefrect happiness and joy.
I know I didnt state specific scriptures, but if anyone is truely interested feel free to email me, and I can supply them.

I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, and we believe that the earth will belong to the righteous, as promised in Psalms, and they will reside forever upon it. We talk about this very topic sometimes when we're together.. the idea of it is just worth thinking about! I think we will have the job of cleaning up the earth from the ruination ravaged upon it now. And as we clean it up, there won't be any MORE pollution, or acid rain, or greenhouse effect.. the earth will gradually become the paradisic garden that Jehovah intended it to be in the beginning when Adam and Eve lost mankind the chance to live forever in the Garden of Eden. I believe that the earth will be populated with people who are God-fearing, and who want to learn more about Jehovah on a daily basis. Revelations says that there will be no more death, or outcry or pain,,, so the earth will have no more hurt in it.. sounds like a plan to me!

I have no idea. However, C.S. Lewis had a great idea when he wrote "The Last Battle"...the final book in the "Chronicles" series. The children recognize several of the places in London when they're in the New Narnia, because Old London was just a hint of what was to come. Everything's brighter, cleaner, and more beautiful than they remember it to be or ever could have imagined it WOULD be.

That sounds nice.

Maybe it will look something like this vision that was given to General William Booth who started the Salvation Army after being given this convicting vision.

"After the first feeling of surprise had somewhat subsided, I looked around me, and took in the situation. It was way beyond anything of earth - positively delightful. And yet some of the more beautiful scenes and sounds and feelings of the world I had just left appeared to be repeated in my new experience in enchanting fashion. Still no human eyes ever beheld such perfection, such beauty. No earthly ear ever heard such music. No human heart ever experienced such ecstasy, as it was my privilege to see, hear, and feel in the celestial country.

Above me was the loveliest of blue skies. Around me was an atmosphere so balmy that it made my whole physical frame vibrate with pleasure. Flowing by the bank of roses on which I found myself reclining was the clearest and purest water of a river that seemed to dance with delight to its own murmurings. The trees that grew upon the banks were covered with the greenest foliage, and laden with most delicious fruit - sweet beyond all earthly sweetness. And by lifting up my hand I could pluck and taste.

In every direction above and around me the whole air seemed not only to be laden with the sweetest perfumes coming from the fairest flowers, but filled with the fairest forms. For, floating around me were beautiful beings whom I felt by instinct were angels and archangels, seraph and seraphim, cherub and cherubim, together with the perfect blood-washed saints who had come from our own world. They were sometimes far, and again coming nearer.

The whole sky at times seemed to be full of white-winged, happy, worshiping, joyous beings. And the whole country, apparently of limitless extent, was filled with a blissful ecstasy that could only be known by being experienced.

When the next ice age happens, that will be the Recration process... All of evil (and good) will be destroyed..... Then when theres no more ice-age then the recreation process happens through millions of years because of all the living cells.... Just like when sea animals crawled to earth,,,, Then over millions of years there were, dinosours, apes, then humans.. or what ever..... I dont thinks there will be no Jesus or Satan thing happenin.....

You have it wrong. Odin created the Earth from the body of the slain frost giant, Slinir. Mankind was born of the maggots that fed upon the dead giant's flesh. Earth will return to a paradise after the final battle of Ragnarok when the gods of good and evil will battle each other for the last time. The world will be laid to waste by their fighting and only one man and one woman will survive by hiding in the shell of the World Tree. From them the new human race shall be born.

So many of the world's craftsmen, scientists, architects etc will be gone, it will look a lot like a campground, or a trailer park. With the gays gone, it won't even be a pretty trailer park. The world will be without fuscia.

What good does it do to speculate on that? You might not even be here. If that is the case, you won't care. If you are here, then you'll know in fact, and all the energy spent on speculation will have been wasted.
