maxiglide by maxius. my friend jenneh has really afro-y hair that it took so long to relax and starighten. she would actually get really upset about her hair at times and just wanted to be able to get up in the morning with normal hair that wasn't crazy. so this past christmas a friend and i bought her the maxiglide b/c we saw it used in an infomercial and she loves the thing. it is her most prized possesion. it works so well there is nothing out there better than it. if it can make jenneh's hair long and sleek like aaliyah then it will definitely work on anyone. (including me i borrow it often)

Chi straighteners are by far the best. They're ceramic, they make hair very straight and shiny for a long time, and they're the kind they use at good salons.

You can only buy them at salons or online though, and they're expensive, around $130. They're definitely worth it though.

The Conair Infiniti hair dryer.

It comes with a straighting piece that works very well I have one and I love it!

The best type of a normal hair straightner is a ceramic.

I use a lye relaxer. It lasts a couple weeks and straightens my hair nicely. The only thing to remember is: it's a LYE relaxer and will burn the **** outta you if you scratch wash you hair too hard in the days prior to putting it in you hair. So, try to avoid scratching it at all, and try not to wash it at least two or three days prior, just to be safe.

I use a Remington hair straightener. (Wet2Straight) I'm not 100% sure but I THINK it's ceramic... it works REALLY well and it only cost like 20 bucks, so I would recommend it.

Ceramic one make sure it is 100 percent ceramic...I use an ISO pink ceramic straightener. It is really cool because you can curl your hair and do cute flips with it.
