There r people at work that take others lunch from fridge. I want to know if you put poison in ur OWN food and someone steals it, eats it, and then dies from it can you be charged?

Actually, A man put ex-lax in his own brownies and had it in the work fridge, with his name on the sack they were in, the food thief took and ate the brownie, and the owner of the lunch was charged with assault. So, yes, you can be charged.
The hot sauce Idea is a good one.

Unfortunately, yes. You poisoned your own food with the intention of harming another. So they will definitely charge you with something.

Yes because it is your intent for them to eat it and die from it. Just considering it is conspiracy to commit murder. My fiance is a Federal Correctional Officer and that's what he said. You are knowingly putting poison in a shared storage area. So if you want to go to prison, then proceed as planned.

yeah you would probly be charged so here is my suggestion, put the poison in somebody else's food and then plant the poison in their desk, then you won't get arrested

instead of poison put some laxatives in it that would be much worse..then you will know stole your lunch because they will be on the toilet the rest of the day......no need to go to jail
