I believe the age of manhood for a Jew then was 25... and Mary was most likely 15 when she conceived... it i not recorded when she was commit ed by her father to marry Joseph... but there had to be at least a year between the time he paid for her and when he could take possession... she gave birth at 16 most likely an he took her at least a month before she gave birth as they had to go to Bethlehem... so... she was 16 and he was at least 26 when the union was legal... and it was then at least 2 1/2 months before they consummated the marriage

Beats me. I was astonished to hear Mary might have been 14 or YOUNGER.
That bothers me a little.
I don't think ANY 14 year old girl is ready to bear babies. 16 maybe. 18 ok. 19 for sure. But 14, they still haven't developed naturally.
No 14 year old has the same BRA size she'll have without babies at 19!
No 14 year old has fully deveoped hips or pelvic.

It is quite disgusting that older men were allowed to marry young girls in those times.
