I believe the age of manhood for a Jew then was 25... and Mary was most likely 15 when she conceived... it i not recorded when she was commit ed by her father to marry Joseph... but there had to be at least a year between the time he paid for her and when he could take possession... she gave birth at 16 most likely an he took her at least a month before she gave birth as they had to go to Bethlehem... so... she was 16 and he was at least 26 when the union was legal... and it was then at least 2 1/2 months before they consummated the marriage

Hold your arms out REALLY, REALLY WIDE.

That is the age difference between Joseph and Mary. If we are to believe Christianity, then Joseph was the first pedophile. Of course, Mary was a "vessel" for the birth of Jesus because God couldn't just say "Poof! He is born!" at that point, which also makes her the first rape case. Yet how could Joseph be Jesus' "biological" father if Mary is a virgin? Impossible! Thus we create a new idea - God somehow inseminated Mary to give birth to his son. People ask "If God could inseminate Mary spiritually to give birth to Jesus, why couldn't he just MAKE Jesus appear himself?" I mean, that would have saved a lot of problems, right? Mary's cherry, the belief that God is some all-powerful being, and poor Jesus - had he descended from the heavens into a manger most people would probably have believed in him and he wouldn't have had to go through that bloody crucifixion!

He traded his spouse for his existence. 4) Moses encountered God as a burning bush -_- 5) i do no longer have confidence the story of Muhammad or Joseph. 6) There re many sensible Christians who've ontributed to technological awareness yet like Darwin i think that the theory of a diety is very own/inner maximum and shud be stored seperate from verifiable, tangible medical artwork. 7) technological awareness cope with fact and experimentation on a similar time as faith believes it holds each and all the solutions in a e book. additionally those "phenomenons" come from superstitions, religions and ppl being terrified of what they don't be attentive to. in this form civilization has no longer replaced from the previous. Ppl have stated they have seen leprechauns, the lockness monster, unicorns and lots extra issues that we carry no evidence against whether it is silly to have self belief they're actual. God being one in each of them.

Beats me. I was astonished to hear Mary might have been 14 or YOUNGER.

That bothers me a little.

I don't think ANY 14 year old girl is ready to bear babies. 16 maybe. 18 ok. 19 for sure. But 14, they still haven't developed naturally.

No 14 year old has the same BRA size she'll have without babies at 19!

No 14 year old has fully deveoped hips or pelvic.

It is quite disgusting that older men were allowed to marry young girls in those times.

The age difference must have been at least 10-20 years between them, honestly.
