People always judge by looks and never by personality

WRONG.
If you are a guy, you get a boosted attraction score based on looks, but AFTER, you are judged on a different scale that is KIND OF like looks.
If you sit with bad posture, lean in too much when talking to a girl, don't make or keep eye contact long, have a timid voice, seek approval and other things like that, YOU WILL BE JUDGED AS UNATTRACTIVE. You know why? Because if you do these things, you will communicate this message and people CAN'T control how they feel about it.
I'm guessing that YOU have this problem. You CAN fix it, but it needs to come from the inside. Don't be a pessimist. You need to know that you can CHANGE virtually all of your personality into something positive that makes you GLOW with confidence and attractiveness. Am I right? Probably. Ask anyone and you'll find that an average looking person with pure confidence is more attractive than a hottie with self-esteem issues.

The first thing you notice about a person is the way they look so it's just inevitable that people kind of judge by looks since most of the time they don't get the chance to actually meet all the people they see. But once you get to know the person then you can really judge them.

I'm not going to lie to you and say "No" outright. It's not true, they do play a part....Looks are kind of what pique someone's interest who hasn't gotten a chance to talk to you.
Everyone has different tastes,though. My boyfriend is not what someone would call classically "handsome", but I think he is the most beautiful person on the planet.....
Short Term= Looks are important
Long term and Lasting = Personality is the most important.

looks r ok. i think of them as an extra bonus. like, first look for a person with great personality, then if u get lucky u might have ended up with a hott guy or girl.

well for me they have to have 80% good looks. it improves the relationship so your like not dating an unatractive perosn, i know this is wrong but i do like good looks a lot.

to an extent yes, there is a limit. cant blame them, not everyone has super mind reading powers
