i donated one pint of blood on wednesday and felt exhausted, as normally expected, nothing too drastic. i didn't pass out or anything and i felt fine from the next morning onwards, but i've noticed that my face is looking a little sallow and fatigued. is this due to blood cell loss or anything related at all??

Blood is made up of white blood cells (that fight infection) platelets (that cause clotting) red blood cells (that carry oxygen and proteins around the body) and plasma (that feeds it all.)

When someone is lacking in red blood cells, they begin feeling fatigued, may have muscle cramps, and look paler-due to the diminished amount of oxygen-carrying RBCs.

One pint is not enough to make you suffer for days, but if you have a diet lacking in iron, you may be anemic- which would also cause paleness and fatigue. Try taking some multi-vitamins, eating whole leafy greens (like spinach,) and red meat. If you don't notice a change after a few days, I would suggest seeing a doctor about maybe getting some iron pills. There are iron pills available OTC, but since iron is something you can overdose on, and something that is produced by your body, getting a full cell count would be safer than making an assumption.

your body may not be used to a blood loss but your blood cells are dieing and reproducing like every second so they have time to replace the loss blood

Holy freakin... what?! it somewhat is... wow... ok, purely wow. i admire analyzing what you write. i in my opinion do. This grabbed me in from the beginning up and as i'm analyzing on, i'm growing to be to be further and extra hooked and involved to what's occurring. whilst it gets closer to the tip, i'm on the fringe of my seat like, no, no, no, it somewhat is not occurring. never. No, it won't be able to. in spite of if it somewhat is. and how you write is so good. i will sense it, see it. "Her eyes are open, today"<--no comma mandatory there. The final line with "awaken. For as quickly as this insomniac does not prefer to sleep." i think of it desires to be 2 lines or something. Like, have the 'awaken' line separate showing which you're telling your self to evoke. And the final line is something desperate. i think of there replaced into something else, yet i'm not seeing it presently... in any case, I enjoyed it. :D
