because you need the right program to open these files. My suggestion, download VLC media player, it is free, simple to use, opens just about any file you could find for video without problems and simply the best.

Try installing some of the popular, free video players.....If your missing any specific video codec, one of these should help solve your problem, if not you may need to update your graphics driver.....
