i did with my brother, and it went on for over 3 years...We talked for a little while, but now we are back to this... its been 1 more year! So 4 years.
My Aunt and my father, didnt talk for 15 years...

I gave the silent treatment to my father for 2 years when I was a teenager. We lived in the same house then and it was the best option at the time. All we did before that was argue. Later in life I swallowed my pride and began to develop an adult relationship with him. We get along much better now.

My younger sister once because she was cheating with my husband. It lasted about 1 year. Then I came to my senses and decided family was more important and my ex-husband. We have a guarded relationship now.
&
My husband now and usually 2 days tops but most of the time no more than 6 hours.

yes i have. one of my close relatives had betrayed me so i gave her the silent treatment for a month then i called & aplogized. after the second time, i just left it, i figured i couldn't trust her and just left it at that. it has been 6 months about since i haven't talked to her & its actually going better without her. it depends what your giving silent treatment for. someetimes its better to talk things out rather than ignore them. good luck.

Yes. And my mom has too. My mom and her sisters haven't spoken to one another for over 30 years!
I'm not sure they even remember what the disagreement was about after that long!

Yep.. since 2004 till now. People are just too wicked and full of evil and jealousy. My mother's sisters. I don't consider them relatives. I'm done with them. I forgave, but that don't mean you have to talk to them.

hell yes. For two years now in counting. My father turned into a crack head and as well as an alcoholic. I do not talk to him when he trys to talk to me.
