OK, let me say this first, no where in the bible does it say they will burn in hell, hell is nothing but a metaphor for death and the grave. Second, sinners do not follow the rules of God. So when the bible says not to be gay, it means don't be gay. But man cannot punish sinners so that they can get into heaven. God says that you cannot change anyword in that bible to mean what ever you want and get into heaven. The Bible says that homosexuals are not fit for this world or the next. You are supposed to be as much like God as it is humanly possible. You strive for perfection. If you want to go to heaven, then READ the BIBLE. I have Gay friends and I love them dearly but i disagree with their lifestyle. I have told them my beliefs on it and they choose not to change and there is nothing i can do about it. I cannot force the word of God on anyone and God doesn't want me to. He wants me to tell people about him and tell them his word. If they choose not to listen or whatever it is on them.

being a homosexual is not a sin but doing homosexual acts are sins. We could not prove someone did a homosexual act no more than you can prove an overweight person is a glutton. Should we put all overweight people in jail too? This is why it is up to the individual to check them-self and why it is so misleading for so called religious leaders to say homosexual acts are fine. They are destined for the lowest portion of Hell.

if the bible is against gays then it is not inspired by God for he made gays too and all love is good between consenting adults, period.gays dont choose to be gay they just are that way and cannot change, its biological and chemical and is an urge like straight sex.how can you fault someone for a feeling beyond there control and be fair, you cant.they deserve love too and should not suffer prejudise and hate for a non-choice and loving emotion.leave them alone is what i say

Man is given free will from God. God did judge Sodom. Anyone not accepting Jesus will burn in Hell. Our actions, too can be sin. As far as change, yes it is hard, this is iniquity, but with the help of God, people can and do change.

Okay, the issue isn't so much about being homosexual or not. It's about sinning. Everyone is a sinner, me, you, every person on this planet and we all deserve damnation. In the Bible it is clear that the penalty for sin is death. However, if one has faith in Jesus, and repents, then they will be saved. If someone really feels badly about their sin, then they will try to improve (although for sinful humans we can never perfectly do this). That doesn't mean that we can just sin as we please, be it heterosexual or homosexual adultery, because if we are truly sorry we try to improve.

I'm not a Christian, but I can answer that.
If people were to arrest someone for every single sin their guilty of, everyone would be in jail, because everyone is a sinner.
Not that I believe in the concept of sin.

People have a free will, which was God given,
men interpret things; have u heard, 'hate the
sin, love the sinner, The person doesn't live
who doesnt have their own bag of s--t, to
account for. In short, no one can judge others,
I fear murderes and rapists, more then I fear
gays.

The gay lifestyle goes against nature. It has nothing to do with one's perception of it being right or wrong. It is not natural. Just because no one sees a christian do anything about it does not mean nothing is being done...prayer is the most effective course of action a christian can take. It is in God's hands - for His correction.

well that's the whole idea buddy, you are not supposed too like the christian rules ,a lot of people do not want to convert because they know that they have to leave their evil ways ,it would not make seance if Gods rules were easy,God himself said in Revelation that drunks, and gay will not enter his kingdom, like it or not that's Gods word,me myself I really can't criticize gay because God said that you have no right to judge anyone

Here's the Christian line of thought:
"The gays' actions will be punished in Hell where they will burn for eternity, so I guess it doesn't matter if I treat them rotten. I am doing God's work."
If you know they are going to be punished eternally, why can't you just treat them with respect (like Jesus said) so that their life on Earth can be pleasent and peaceful and we can live in a world of puppies and rainbows? It's bigotry that makes this world a craphole.
