It's like how people on diets get really mad when they see you eating a cake because they know they shouldn't have any and are envious.
"How can you eat that? It's disgusting," translates to, "God damn that looks good."

Because sexual differences has nothing to do with life. You can be male or female and that's where it all starts and where it all began. It was man (not God) who decided that it was okay for a man to sleep with a man and woman to sleep with a man. Many of the leaders in the Christian faith were single and unmarried. So obviously, they knew that there was more to life than just sex. And although there are Christians who judge and condemn others for what they deem to be wrong, the best way is to let the Word of God be the final judgement about it. Basically, the Word of God is taught by most (not all) Christians to be divinely inspired by God and for that reason, everything in the Bible should be taken seriously. But usually it is not the Christians who condemn those with different "sexual preferences", it's their actions that go against what God has clearly spoken about and against in His Word.

One more thing. Homosexuality comes from the word "Sodomy" which comes from the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which were destroyed by God with fire and brimstone because he hates the practice so much.

You know...I've been thinking more and more lately that sex is more a problem...that is, inability to control one's sexual urges, wanting to do things that are unwise, etc....
for people who are unhealthy in some way, spiritually & emotionally. Telling people to repress their sexuality is not going to help them understand themselves and make good decisions...
OK, half thought out idea...take it where you like...
I think healthy people are more capable of self-control, and making people ashamed does not make them healthy.

Sex is important to Christians. It is only good in the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Sex in any other kind of relationship is sin.

It's a lie they tell themselves to cope with their vow of celibacy until marriage.
