I bought an Isuzu Amigo for $3500. On my way home from work on one of the coldest mornings in MI, the truck decided to start bogging down. I had about 25 miles before I would be home, so I turned up the heat, pulled to the side of the road, turned on my flashers, and continued to drive. The ruck kept quitting if I tried to go any faster than 15 mph (in 2nd gear), so I started praying. At 1st I TOLD God that I HAD to get home, and if I didn't, then I was going to LIVE in the vehicle because I WASN'T paying for something that had no purpose. On and on I ranted. The truck died. It didn't start until I turned the heat off. Lucky for me I had a big coat on, but it was still cold. 3 hours (of driving) later, I was almost home. Only about 5 to 6 blocks away. I was pulling up to some railroad tracks and there was a BIG bang, and the truck died again. I just sat there saying, Lord, I know I said I would live in this thing if I didn't make it home, but YOU know I am so close that I would look ridiculous at this point. I cried, I screamed. I laughed, then screamed and cried some more. At least 15 minutes went by. Finally, I was quiet. And I heard God speak for the 1st time in my life. He whispered, "Amy, get out and open the hood." I cried"I can't Lord". "Amy," He whispered, "Get out and open the hood." I opened my door. I walked to the front of the truck and opened the hood. There was gas and oil sprayed all over the engine and hood. I dropped it, walked back to my door, and climbed in. I put my head down on the steering wheel and was quiet. Then I heard Him again. "Turn the key." I couldn't move. And then He SAID, "Amy, TURN THE KEY." So I did. The truck started, and I drove all the way into my driveway (speeding up to 50mph!). I parked, and before I opened my door, the remaining oil was all over the snow. After I had the truck towed to the shop, the OWNER called and asked where I was when I heard the big boom. I told him, and he asked if I was sure. I said yes. He said that the only way that the truck couldv'e even started after that was if God himself were driving it. This is a true story. It happened in Greenville, MI. Jay's Auto is the shop were I took the truck

My grandparents were simple people, who strived all their lives to serve God. They were childhood sweethearts, married in their teens, and never strayed. They raised 7 children. When my grandmother died about 3 years ago, my grandfather was lost. He sat beside her casket at the funeral and couldn't let go of her hand. The day of the funeral, it had been raining hard all day, and he couldn't bear the thought of taking her out to the cemetery and "leaving her" in the rain. All through the service, we prayed that the rain would stop so he would have an easier time saying goodbye to her. But the sky was like lead, and it continued to pour as the service concluded. Then, as we were leaving the funeral home and getting into our cars to go to the cemetery, the rain abruptly stopped. Not only did it completely stop raining, but the sun came out, and shone brightly. Somehow our hearts were lightened, a burden was removed, and Grandpa was able to let her go. We left the cemetery actually smiling in our grief, for we knew Grandma was with her Lord. And when I think back on that day, I think that God was saying to my grandfather and grandmother both, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." No one will ever convince me it was only a coincidence. God will answer prayers, and He will have mercy on His children when their burdens are too heavy for them. Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

It would take up too much space to tell all that God has done for me. I used to hang out in bars, in and out of bad relationships, had anorexia, was extremely physically sick from that (3 years) had a heart full of bitterness and confusion because of the abuse I suffered as a child..Now, after I came to God, I have a wonderful sweet husband, we are blessed financially, the bitterness in my heart is gone and only full of joy. I am a marathon runner and all of the emotional as well as physical wounds have been healed. God has been so faithful to me and all of it has been a process (didn't happen overnight)... Tell your friend to hold on because God always comes through.

God gave me hope and a future, just like Jeremiah 29:11 says.

He took me through money problems, marriage problems, children problems, health problems and so much more. Some how He kept my spirits from getting too low to where I would give up. Life has many challenges and the Lord helps us through each one.

Wow there's so much to say. God's saved me from times when I was in true depression, he's saved me from committing suicide atleast twice. He's given me strength when I was weak. He saved me and filled me with his spirit, I've grown up in church but I've had my fair share of valleys but he's always came through for me. Every single time. He's never let me down. He healed my dad of scoliosis and much much more. Jesus is truly amazing.
