Your insurance company can look back 5 years (7 in some cases) on alcohol related convictions in Texas. 7 if something serious like vehicular manslaughter is involved.

You should contact your insurance agent, as laws may vary from state to state. I do know that an alcohol conviction, even if it has been reduced to a negligent or reckless driving, insurance companies can go back ten yrs. Most insurance companies are allowed three yrs of driving history, unless alcohol related.
