So I've found out that tonight, i'm going to the same party that my ex is going to. She broke up with me nearly 2 weeks ago and we were going out for about 9 months, and I still love and care for her deeply. I'm not sure what to do if she ends up being with another guy at the end of the night...I just don't think I could handle that. Also it's my school grade party with only guys from my school going (private school) plus girls from the surrounding girl's schools, so if she hooks up with someone, i'm going to know about it on monday. I just don't know what to do...Any help would be much appreciated.

You're going to have to rise above this.
You two have broken up - for good reasons right?
It's just time to move on, so be find a way to be cool with this.
Good luck.

go over to the kitchen sink and turn on the cold water. Read this 3 times while the water is running, 3 times.
"My ex is going to the same party as me and wants to hook up with others, what do i do?

turn off the water and stay as long as you you feel you need to, turn away from the kitchen sink, and you answer should come to you if you paid attention to the noise of the water while you read what you wrote 3 times.

If she actually hooks up with someone else, show her the door! She's not ready to be with one guy. Life teaches us these lessons so we know better next time & next time.

she's hurt you already.....
you love her..and care deeply for her...
and she doesn't seem to care....
perhaps you're better off without her....
what i hope you will do is find a nice girl who will love , respect and care deeply for you in return....
that would be a balanced relationship....
if one person loves the other in a relationship..and doesn't get any love in return..then it's an unbalanced relationship....
don't waste your time in a relationship that's unbalanced....
i hope you meet a gorgeous..girl..who will love you deeply in return...have fun and good luck!

If it's really over, use this experience as a character builder. Grow up and move on.

If going to this party will cause you this much angst, why are you planning to even go?
