What it should mean to the non jewish?
Why are they the chosen ones? why not the others or why not all of us? Since my religion believes in God and the Bible, why not us? Does that mean that when the world ends the Jewish people will go to heaven and the punishments are lesser?

I believe in what the Bible says but why them?

I know I should read the Bible but i have been reading the Bible. why?

You've got it a little mixed up. The Jewish PEOPLE are "chosen" which just means they are given more responsibility in the world than non-Jews -- more commandments to follow.

All people have equal access to God. In fact, the Torah outlines 7 universal laws for all people (the sheva mitzvot b'nei Noach)

Being chosen does not put the Jews in a higher standing than gentiles. We were chosen because when G-d offered the Torah to the world, we "chose" accept it and follow it. For that, we were to be a "nation of priests." It doesn't mean we're any better in G-d's eyes, it means we have more responsibilities to please G-d. The Jews have 613 commandments to follow--non Jews generally have 10 (or 7, depending on who you are asking.)

As to why we are chosen:
We chose the Torah when G-d offered it to the world, hence Chosen People

Why not all of us?
If every peoples on the world had to be a nation of priests, we'd have all priests and no people.

G-d and the Bible?
Originally, your people didn't "choose" the Torah when G-d first offered it. That's nothing bad. It's just what happened. Not to mention there are a few problems with following the Bible (from the Jewish point of view) that I would state as reasons.

Jews go to heaven?
If you believe that. Jews believe the world isn't really going to end, per se. You'd have to ask a Chrstian about this one. Jews believe that everyone's punishment is not the same when we die, since not everyone has the same number of laws to follow--gentiles get off easier.

Peace

God used the Jewish people for our example. The Bible tells us why God did what He did to them. They forgot God and they were punished for it. If we forget God we will be punished for it. God chose to live among the Jewish people and live in Jerusalem. The center of the world. He could have chosen the Arabs but God chose Isaac over Ishmael and Jacob over Esau. We must remember God is the Potter and we are the clay. He can make each of us any way He wants. Read Deuteronomy 32:7-to end.

Israel was, is, will always be, the chosen people of God. However, Jesus was the Messiah sent to the Jews. Most Jewish people rejected Jesus. There is no salvation for Jews or Gentiles outside of belief in Jesus Christ.

The bible says that after "the times of the gentiles" have been fulfilled, that God will once again deal with Israel. However, it will still be the same; to be saved, Jew or Gentile, one needs to repent of their sin and accept God's son as their savior.

To answer your question about why God chose them....I don't know.

Well, Paul said we Christians were Annexed in by Jesus.

Ultimately, however, God is going to Judge and he may judge Atheists and Buddhists and even Muslims above some JEwish and Christians

It depends on who has and doesn't have the Mark of the Beast.

The Jews were chosen. God used them to bring the mortal body of Christ into the world and therefore make the salvation of mankind possible... That is a very important choosing... Jim

The Jewish race was chosen by Father God to begin the revelation of His Love for mankind. He made a covenant to bring about their prosperity if they remained obedient. He also made a way for everyone to be apart of His kingdom with Jesus Christ. Therefore Father God made a promise to Jesus Christ and made Him the ruler of His kingdom. Jesus said "If you believe in Father God, believe also in Me."

Not all Jews belong to Israel. Israel is for those of us who follow Christ some were Jews and some were Gentiles. You really should read a bit more about it, you'll feel much better if you do. :)
