samjedi- idk if he likes me...but he's sure been talking 2 me a lot more than usual...but i think he's too shy...so i need to give him a huge hint or somehting i guess

I know you did not want to hear this...but ask him!
Have you ever heard the saying the early bird gets the worm?
Stop sitting around waiting for him to ask you. If he is as shy as you say, my guess is he will never ask you. Or if he finally works up the nerve it might be too late.
Hey girl...it is 2007...be assertive. Women are dominant, powerful beings. We are in control of our love lives, destiny and futures. So take control. Go to school tomorrow, pull this guy to the side and pop the question. But do not forget to tell him much you like him...flattering always helps.
Plus this is your prom. Wouldn't you rather make this memory with someone you wanted to go to prom with instead of the jerk that might possible ask you?
