You can use a acid rinse on your hair to remove all styling products from your hair. This as also helpful to use every 2 weeks to keep your color fresh and remove any build up on your hair. An acid rinse is 1 part lemon juice and 2 parts water. This is not damaging to the hair in fact it leaves your hair soft and silky. I recommend it to all my customers before coloring because it leaves the hair free of any residue that may interfere with coloring.

Its best to use a clarifying shampoo before you have it done...It cleanses all hairspray, gels, etc...Which leaves the hairshaft ready to take color....

Just know what you want...and it works better if you get them done with your hair DRY. :)
