You be realistic with yourself and tell yourself that the chances between you two are highly unlikely. Then you find a new focus and wait till something comes along that's within your grasp.

How did you meet him?
Try the computer if he has email
or if you feel comfortoable af course
find out where he goes biking, or when he goes walking because home schoolers have to do PE its a requirement at leas t an hour a day i think

Try dropping a note or a simple mail in his mailbox, telling him what you have in mind - but don't scare him off with your words. And also ask something like... "Since you're home schooled, when do you really get out of the house? I wonder if we could bump into each other..."
Not sure if it will work..., I'm merely suggesting. ;-)

hopefully, he isn't denied access to this email thingy...email him, set up a date (hopefully he isn't grounded) and hang out (and i hope u guys can be at your place) otherwise, this might be too difficult to work under the present circumstances...goodluck to you
