Do guys' feelings wear off easily?

I just broke up with my boyfriend 4 days ago. I'm just wondering if he still likes me or what cause a friend told me he still does. But I don't think so cause he's been avoiding me. But then, he texted my friend just yesterday asking if I cried, does this mean he cares still? Oh, and he wanted me to dump him so I won't get embarrased.

Obviously, he still clings to some sort of feelings because the situation between you two has yet to be resolved. If he's avoiding you, it shows the problem is on his conscience and he hasn't deal with it yet. It's only been several days so give things more time to play out.
