Free thinkers in general usually don't go to church so I doubt if there is a false church community of them out there. Free thinkers are people who use common sence, insight, experience, science and widom to think for themselves.

Most churches teach and push a man- made theology that is used in conjunction with the deity that the particular church worships.

Free thinkers are usually sincere people who are heartfelt in thier beliefs. They refuse to be goaded or pushed into beliefs that are man made. Same with Jesus. He taught in the hillsides and by the seaside in the real house of God. The early Christians only worshiped outside when they could.

Nature is the real church that we shoudl be attending.

Many free thinkers also believe in a higher power or God. They get thier guidance straight from God the way Jesus said that we should. All the rituals and repititions of the church are the very things Jesus railed against during his time here. How easily forgotten are the words that he said.

Freethought is a philosophical viewpoint that holds that beliefs should be formed on the basis of science and logical principles and not be comprised by authority, tradition, or any other dogma. The cognitive application of freethought is known as freethinking, and practitioners of freethought are known as freethinkers.

Easy - a free thinker is someone who has boldly thrown off the shackles of bondage to religious morals and authority and has bravely forged ahead his own path, determining his own morals and destiny.

At least that is what the "free thinkers" think of themselves - really they just like to get together and mock people they don't understand for being so stupid and intolerant. And they never get the irony of that lol

But you know, "freethinking" is the oldest hobby of mankind... it's what Adam and Eve did when they first ate that fruit...

It means using common sense! :-) You can still be religous/spiritual and use common sense. Religion alone can not explain our complex spiritual existence and science alone can not explain away our human existence.

It means, "We don't want you in our community because you're smarter than us, and we can't have any smart people running around here, ya know?".
