he's upset you resolved to cheating,
he's just looking out for you. lets face it, he's not going to be around for ever. once he's gone, who will help? thats what dads think like. they want you to learn how to fend for yourself.
if you cheat, will you learn?in life there a swings and roundabouts (so to speak) sometimes you'll fail, sometimes you want, but in the progress you learn something vital to survive. when cheating, sure you'll get great results, but when it come to the crunch time, you'll be lost. he worries about that.
if you ever have children yourself sometime, you'll understand.
it a traditional concept to pass on, you have to lead by example.
if you cheat , your not cheating anyone but yourself. thats why he's upset.
eg,if you manage to cheat in a thoery test and you pass, you could possibly harm someone else, or even yourself. just an example. your dad is just looking out for you.sure he'll be mad, and upset, and possibly punish you, but if you dont learn, well one day it might be your un-doing.
so, take what ever is coming to you on the chin, and learn from it. it'll be hard to hear your dad going on and on at you, but take a step back a look at it from his point of view.
remember lifes a big lesson, dont cheat it.

Just admit your mistake and accept the consequences. I imagine there was a consequence of zero on your test.
Students tend to fear their parents more than needed. Your dad would not be a good parent if he did not get upset so be thankful he is mad.
You really need to ask yourself why you cheated in the first place. Did you not study? Why not? Is it because you're not sure how to? Is it because you don't manage your time wisely? Is it because you don't attend classes regularly?
Once you figure out why you cheated, do yourself a favour and fix it. If you don't know how to study, talk to someone (i.e. guidance or special education) at your school to learn some new strategies.
If you didn't leave yourself enough time, recreate your schedule to include regular review of material.
If you don't attend class... start going and catch up already.
Cheating on one test is not the end of the world, but poor habits that led you there in the first place aren't good.
Good luck!

I bet he would be mad at you. Why would you cheat on a test?! You have to be punished, what you did was really bad. Learn from your mistakes, dude. It's just not right to be a total liar. Cheating on a test may not send you to jail, but it's something that could get you sent to jail when you're older. Learn.

Be sorry and hang your head in shame. Offer to retake the test..not for a grade but to really learn the material. State why you understand it is important for you to know this in your life. Say you were caught up in the idea of the grade, but you really understand that it's not about the grade, but about learning, integrity, honesty and character.
By no means suggest this to your father...but it's likely that at some point in his life this could have happened to him and he'll be understanding. IF you seem to have learned your lesson.

Oh well, why you told him? Let him know that people make mistakes and he has too. And that you panic and got very nervous and that you didn't want to disappoint him. Tell him that you won't do it again. promise him.And blame yourself for being not able to trust yourself that you can do it without cheating. Tell him that you were worry that he wouldn't be happy if you brought home a bad score. Tell him that you love him and wouldn't do it again. LUCK
Show that you really mean it. Tell him that you are SORRY.

ok well try listening to your dad and then turn it into something good. You know not to ever cheat again now. And dont disagree with him or make it into a fight. That never works it will only make it even worse. Well any ways that allways works for me. hope it helps :)

We'll I think you're dad's got it wrong if he's punishing you physcially for it.
Truth is you are in fact cheating yourself. Your teaching yourself that you are stupid and incapable of thinking for yourself.
Thats a worst punishment than anything.
Stay away from drugs. They don't solve anything. Unless your dad is some kind of abuser who deserved to be reported, till him your sorry you did such a stupid thing.
Next time respect yourself more. Don't do it becuase your told to, do it because its in your long term interest to do so.

He should be mad and you should never have done this. I hope he doesn't kill you but if he does you will know in the next life not to cheat. Kidding.
