There's this one guy at school who I'm really good friends with. Although, I DON'T have romantic feelings towards him. I just think he's a really cool guy.

Most of my friends say that he probably likes me, and I think so, too. I've even asked him if he did, and he said that he couldn't tell me, and said it with a smile. (Dead giveaway)

But, the thing is, he thinks that I like him (At least, he strongly implied it). I go bike riding with him and talk to him at school, etc.

I don't want him to get his hopes up, so should I tell him straight up that I don't like him in that way? I want to save our friendship, but I don't know if whether leaving the situation as it is or just letting him know how I feel will work better.

I suggest you tell him how you are feeling. I think that he would be more hurt after he went for you, then you told him that the feelings aren't mutual. I think that if you tell him ahead of time, you won't be leading him on. You have to explain to him how valueable your friendship with him is. If he is truly your good friend, he will understand and be fine with it;then continue being great friends. Good luck!

Make it clear right away how you feel. If he no longer wants to be friends, then he wasn't a quality friend anyway. If he still wants to be friends, both of you will be more at ease.

you should be honest wiv him and tell him you only like his as a friend....the longer you leave it the stronger he's feelings will get and it will be harder for you to tell him if you wait to long.....good luck :) maybe you mite endup liking him

just tell him straight up. he might still like you in that way but at least he will know how you are feeling about it. who knows, someday your feelings might change for him.
