hmmm, the safest bet is to see a dermatologist, because everyone's skin is differnt,But I could never afford one, so I tried everything on the market until I tried "Oxy daily face wash" I works perfect for me... but it could be too harsh for people with overly sensitive skin... it has benzoil peroxide in it "the same stuff thats is in proactive but its a lot cheaper. Try it after u use your regular soap (it's in a black bottle and about 7.00 for a 2 month supply) good luck!!!

I have sensitive skin too (seriously, I've reacted to every hand cream except Neutrogena). I've been using Clearasil Facial Cleanser and have had no problem. They typically don't make acne facial washes for sensitive skin because an effective acne wash will either contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, which are far from gentle. Acne facial washes always dry your skin out too, so be sure to use a moisturizer

raw unpasturized apple cider vinegar..
the following 2 testimonials can be seen at http://www.earthclinic.com/cures/acne.ht...
Angelina O, has found that applying ACV topically to her face several times a day (4 or more times) has cured her of a "very bad complexion". She reports that she applies it straight and that while it burns her skin a bit, it still works like a miracle!
you can get it at the health food store, or in some super marktet health food sections. i use bragg vinegar..
good luck
Cheryl writes, "My daughter developed a case of moderate acne, and after trying a number of different things for over a year which helped very little or not at all, she started drinking 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar three times a day and applying it topically once at night. She has been acne free for two months. It took about three weeks to clear up."

I like Cetaphil. Also, wash face with cool water always, never hot. And never use toners or scrubs, they only tend to aggravate acne more. And use an oil free moisturizer, again I like Cetaphil.
And if you want to use a good soap at night for acne, I suggest Panoxyl Bar 10% and moisturize afterwards. All can be found at your drugstore.

Proactive, no doubt about it. I used t and after looking in the mirror, it was already starting to clear. The price is worth it too.
