Probably the baby laying in an uncomfortable position. It's also a posibility, however, that the baby's dropping. Mine dropped at 32 weeks and it was exactly like that. I ended up leaving work early and laying down. By the end of the day it was obvious my belly was lower- then the fun *really* began. If you think you have to pee a lot now...

In any case, before I realised what was happening, I called my doctor and the nurse told me discomfort at this stage was very common, but that unless I was exhibiting early labor signs (discharge, contractions, etc), then I shouldn't worry too much, and that I would know if something was seriously wrong.

Edit: dropping is different from when the baby is turned. Dropping is when the head becomes engaged in the pelvis. It's technically already labor, but it can take several weeks as the head presses further and further toward your cervical opening.

Hope you feel better!

The way the baby is laying inside your belly. Plain and simple. At this point in time the baby might be turning and going into birth position, not meaning your going to have the baby tomorrow. The baby is so big now that he/she can't move around as much either. So thats why the baby is making you feel uncomfortable like that.

I went through the same thing! I feel your discomfort i tell ya! The baby is getting ready to be born and already has like no room to move around. You may be experiencing false labor pains. Those will drive you crazy! Good luck! Call your doc if it worries you!

i felt like that just after i turned 30 weeks

Turns out my little gal turned over
I thought i was in premature labour

I got severe BH contractions for about 5hours but eventually i felt better.

This is when the "fun" starts - cuz from today onwards u wont be able to keep a pee in as baby uses yr bladder as a football.. hehe

If you are bleeding, spotting or having regular contractions please call ER

Drink alot of water and get some rest

Good luck
