Jubilee Pie
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup buttermilk baking mix
1/2 cup Karo Syrup Light or Dark Corn Syrup
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) Margarine, softened
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Chocolate curls (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 9-inch pie plate.
2. In food processor or blender, process eggs, milk, baking mix, corn syrup, margarine, and melt chocolate 1 minute. Pour into prepared pie plate, let stand 5 minutes.
3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is puffed and set. Cool on wire rack 1 hour; center will fall, forming a well.
4. While pie bakes, mix cherry pie filling and almond extract; refrigerate. Fill center of cooled pie with cherry mixture. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
5. Before serving, pipe or swirl whipped cream around edge. Garnish with chocolate curls.
Makes 1 9-inch pie.
Prep time: 20 minutes
Bake time: 40 minutes plus cooling and chilling time
If you are making this a la cooking show, then you'll be able to pull this off since I'm sure you'll have several different steps and parts of the recipe done ahead of time so things flow along in a limited amount of time. I picked this recipe because the pie crust is different than any other and how it sinks. If this doesn't work, try http://www.tasteofhome.com which actually has a tour where they put on cooking shows, and several of the recipes on their site are used in the show.

What about No Bake Cookies? Everyone loves those and it's something they would not need many tools or even the oven for, just the stove top for a little bit. No Bake Cookies INGREDIENTS 1 3/4 cups white sugar 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup butter 4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter 3 cups quick-cooking oats 1 teaspoon vanilla extract DIRECTIONS In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Bring to a boil, and cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat, and stir in peanut butter, oats, and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. Let cool until hardened.

I have a few ideas...
An easy recipe I can think of is apple crisp...this one is sooo delicious but its so simple to put together. Even thought is is easy it still has a bunch of steps( peeling the apples, chopping apples, mixing ingredients, etc.) which would be good for teaching in front of the class...
INGREDIENTS
6 tart apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup quick-cooking oats
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, divided
1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place apples in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a bowl, mix melted butter, flour, sugar, oats, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon to form a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with remaining 1/4 cup butter, and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cinnamon.
Bake 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned and apples are tender.
Another good one is this EASYY but yummy pasta salad...
1/2 lb uncooked pasta, of your choice
1 stalk celery, diced
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/2-3/4 cup Italian salad dressing (to taste)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente.
Drain and pour pasta into a large dish.
Stir in the celery and tomatoes.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the salad dressing and mayonnaise, then pour this mixture over the salad and toss again, to coat.
Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Enjoy!
Lastly, Bread Pudding would be a good one for your class..I actually watched a cooking show on the food network the other day and the lady was showing how to make bread pudding!....here is a greattttt recipe...
1 loaf white bread (regular size as opposed to Jumbo or family size)
1 quart milk
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
3 tablespoons vanilla
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup brown sugar
Break the bread into small chunks in a large bowl.
Add the white sugar and melted butter and stir.
Add the eggs one at a time alternately with the milk stirring well so that each egg is incorporated before adding the next one until all the eggs and milk are used.
Stir in the vanilla and raisins.
Pour into a greased lasagna pan or a 13x9" inch pan.
(sometimes the 13x9 tends to get over full depending on the particular loaf of bread).
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly across the top of bread mixture.
Bake in a preheated 350* oven for 1 hour.
Let cool 20 to 30 minutes as pudding will set firmer as it cools.
Can be served warm or chilled.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aNDuL
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
