I went to the bathroom today and it burned when I peed. I've never had this happen to me so when I got home i immediately took a shower and when I peed again, it burned but not as much as the first time. I thought it might be a urinary tract infection but I didn't find anything clear on webmd that had my sympton. what do u think it is? and can it go away on its own. and by the way i am not sexually active. ( just in case u might think its an std)

It does sound like a urinary tract infection. Does it feel like you still have to go after you peed? Usually the first symptom is the burning feeling.. the constant need to urinate may come later.

Tonight... drink a TON of water. You can drink cranberry juice and take uristat (over the counter) to relieve some symptoms. You MUST see the doctor for a UTI as it can develop into a kidney infection.

Might be the beginning of a yeast infection or could be a UTI like you said. Drink a bunch of cranberry juice and waters to flush out your bladder for a day and see if that helps, if not and it gets worse then I would suggest getting to a doctor or it could go to your kidneys and that hurts alot worse. Take care of yourself.

I like your avatar. It could be a UTI or something has just irritated it. See the doc if it keeps up.
