Are you both married?
I understand that his problem is with Canada, but if you prove that you are married to him they would give him the visa, i guess.

To start with why not go to the Canada Immigration web site and read the rules for a visa? Then apply for a visa under their rules. I am sure that web site would give you all the necessary info you need to complete this.

It would be easier for you to go to Syria than to get a camel throw the eye of this needle.

Hey, there is a war going on in Iraq any one wanting to come over here is suspect.

I suggest you personally speak with someone at your Canadian Embassy to find out what steps you/your "soul mate" might be able to do to get him back to Canada.

You may have to consider your "soul mate" doesn't want to leave his family/children. There are, also, not many countries who are wanting to accept Iraqis into their country right now.

Perhaps it would be easier for you to get into Iraq.
