Well, if you want to coat the chicken in breadcrumbs you'll need to dip in a milk-egg mixture first. Mix the milk and egg, dip the chicken in that and then into your breadcrumbs (I recommend adding salt and pepper to your breadcrumbs along with any other seasoning you like) than place in your dish which you should have sprayed with Pam or coat lightly with butter. Cover tightly and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until the juice run clear. Drumstick shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes. You may want to remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking. And be sure and let them sit for a few minutes after you remove them from the ove.

1/2 c. butter
12 to 16 chicken drumsticks (or whatever you have)
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. water
2 cups bread crumbs
1/2 cup instant potato flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper, for seasoning

Melt butter in a 9x13 baking pan or dish.

Season drumsticks with salt and pepper.

Mix egg and water together in a shallow dish or pan; mix bread crumbs and potato flakes together in another dish.

Dip drumsticks in egg mixture and then roll them in bread crumb/potato flake mixture.

Place them in the baking pan and bake for one hour at 300 degrees F, turning once halfway through baking.

400 degree oven for 30 minutes, then check one. Return to oven if not done by the bone. Also, you need a beaten egg to roll the legs in before you roll it in crumbs.

put the bread crumbs and chicken in a ziplock and shake. grease pan or use spray. Spray top of chicken with oil spray. Bake at 350. You could pan fry with oil.
