help with avi files?

ok i downloaded some family guy shows off limewire but i cant play them with windows play 11 so can any body tell me what do i need thanks

thats a windows media problem, try this:
open windows media player-->right click the icon in the top-left corner-->tools-->options-->file types tab-->check the box next to "Windows video file (avi)"
OR try this:
open My Computer-->find an avi file-->right click it-->properties-->click the "change" button near the top, and find windows media player-->select it, and hit OK
