Shannon is right. The term Eskimo is pejorative, careful there then. Now, there are many languages spoken in that part of the world...Inuit is the most spoken of those languages.

First, you might want to start calling them ":Inuits." the term "Eskimo" refers to "eaters of raw fish." In other words it can be seen as a derogatory term.
