Since religion is defined as "a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith" I don't see how Hinduism or Buddhism could be considered fake. Therefore, I don't think the question is answerable based on that premise. Take out the word "fake" from the question and I would say that God allowed Hinduism and Buddhism because they are very effective means of bringing certain truths into the world despite the absence of things that you would associate with a "real" religion.

Jason, Christianity certainly didn't Exist in Adam and Eve's day.
Neither did any of the religions. No Judaism, no Christianity, no Islam, no Buddhism, no Hinduism.
Holy men like Abraham, Mohammed, Jesus and Buddha came up with the theories themselves when the old ways were unsatisfactory. Followers took the theories and turned them into ways of life, could be for good (achieving enlightenment) or bad (personal gain)

Because they're not fake religions?
and in fact they have almost nothing to do with god at all?
also Buddhism isn't really a religion it's more of a way of thinking

The Devil created Hinduism and Buddhism along with all the other false religions to get people distracted from the truth because he wants to take advantage of the fact that God gives everyone the choice to serve Him or the Devil. So if the True God has ONE WAY, then the Devil came up with Many Ways to increase his chances of getting more victims away from what they need to have.

What? You're Perfect and know everything Divinity knows? Until you are, other than going by someone's interpretation of what an old old book that other Imperfect Humans wrote, how do you know they're fake? And keep in mind, saying the Bible says their fake is what's I'm talking about. Until you know the mind of God and it's workings, I suggest you take Christ's advice and Judge Not.

You hit the nail on the spot: those religions are as fake as yours.
Mind you, buddhism is not a religion as it is a way of life.
