jr 27 ~
Maybe you mean rolling with the punch? I've never heard the terminology "Rolling Punch" before and I've been around boxing more than three decades. I might be wrong, but I don't think I am.

If it's rolling with the punch it means turning with the punch or turning in the opposite direction the punch is coming from. This takes away from the punches force. The all time absolute best at it was Roberto Duran. Whenever he got caught with a decent head shot his thin hair would fly all around and his head would snap and it seemed that if he got caught with a huge shot but he'd roll with it a sneer.

Floyd Mayweather is a fighter today that uses the tuck and roll style effectively another fighter would be Zab Judah, these two fighters keep the majority of their weight on the rear foot exposing a lot of the body but as a punch comes towards their head they roll with it.

I hope this helps, if not, I apologize for my confusion. Thanks for the question jr 27.

gonz ~ He's not that good at it. Did you see what Cotto did to Paulies face? Disgusting!

I think it's a comedy punch like you see on cartoons where you swing your arm round in a circle a couple of times before punching someone!
