it's guys choice. plz help w/ suggestions on how to get a date. there's this guy i kinda wanna go with, how do i get him to ask me??? plz help!

i don't want to go "stag", and my mom wont let me go stag cuz she says theres no point in getting a dress if i dont have a date...
im also trying to avoid asking cuz i want to try and get HIM to ask me how can i get him to? please help!

As a mormon guy, I can say it wasn't always easy to ask a girl out. I wound up going to 3 proms. 2 of those, I was asked by the girl and had a blast at both. In fact one of them became a great friend in the long run.
Your right, the guy is supposed to ask the girl. Unfortunately that doesn't always happen. You could always try getting a trustworthy friend to drop the hint on the guy. Sometimes that works.

Don't get him to ask you. You ask him. This is life. You can deal with no's and the ups and downs of relationships, or you can play it safe and wait for life to come to you. There are roller coasters and merry-go-rounds. I like roller coasters, thank you.

Do you absolutely need a date? Show up with other friends and have a good time.
You can't make someone like you. Ask him yourself if it's that important.

Well, you could sneak an answer on who's he planning to take. You can get one of your gutsy friends to approach him and ask him who's he planning to take the Jr. prom.
