Forgive me for asking, but how do you know the bird has diarrhea? Is there a possibility it ate something that disagreed with it? Please email me at birdkeeper@bellsouth.net and we will try to diagnose the problem

If a parrot is showing an illness then you really should take it to the vet. They are really good at hiding their illness to avoid becoming prey in the wild.

I know its Friday night so the vet might not be an option.
In humans they suggest eating these things. I know that these foods are safe for birds so it might be worth a try.

bananas
applesauce
bread

I really don't know so I'd wait to see if other parrot parents answer. I used to have a Amazon parrot but never had problems with diarrhea.

Best of luck!

Sorry man, I don't recommend any remedy. If the bird is sick their is nothing you can do except take it the vet so that it can have proper care. Since it is Friday and after hours, your best bet is an emergency vet. If not start calling EVERYWHERE Saturday morning. My little guy got sick on a Saturday morning, and we had to drive to a vet an hour away just to get him checked at. Lucky thing we did because my little guy had an infection in his crop. Please don't take any chances, get your bird some help. Best of Luck!

It needs to see an Avian Vet ASAP! By the time birds let us know they are sick, they are on the brink. Please, get him to the vet!

If you don't have an avian vet, you can look one up here http://aav.org/vet-lookup/
