One eye is fine. The eye with astigmatism has gotten worse in the past year and now when I close the other and try to read a number I see two of everyting. Is it the astigmatism getting worse or something else.

It means that you see two of the same thing in one eye only.See an optomotrist who may send you to an opthamologist. They'll fix you and it won't hurt!

I have strabismus and it is the crossing of one eye or "Lazy Eye" When my strabismus symptoms occured I had double vision. What I think double vision is, is that you have strabismus. I got cured of double vision by using bifocals maybe you need them.
