I would sneak around...but i am one of those types that can't go out cos of my mum. just try and see what happens.

Either build on it as a friendship first and take it slow, sneak behind her back or kiss mom's butt and make nice with her till she likes you. If it's a religious thing, then kissing butt may not work.

Well I would say that if you are young enough that his mom can say no, you shouldn't be dating, but kids have been sneaking out of bedroom windows forever, ya know...?
