You just gotta find the kind of guy that desires to treat you like the queen you are.

have you ever tried being romantic and sweet, and left a row of smoking ruins that may have been relationships in your wake. my friend, THAT is why i swore off romantic idealism. everyone (girls) says it's what they want, but it's not really. because when it comes right down to it, if you can look past your pretenses, you will notice that the girls always go for those guys who aren't. so how does it pay to be romantic and sweet?
people generally don't use a failing method of getting girls, and i have lived with the defects of romanticism for three years, and never gotten a single date, not even when i asked 6 girls to prom (not at the same time! one at a time), before i finally wised up and adopted a new philosophy.
i believe that is the answer to your question. we do what society places value on; what actually works and not what is idealized but doesn't work.

I feel you!!!!!! I really don't understand why they are like that these days!!!! And I know not all of them are bad asses but, the ones who are, What the hell happened!?!?!?!?!?!? And yeah, they tell you how much they love you and that they would never leave you but about the 3rd or 4th day of dating they dump you and after a few days you see them with another person!!!! UGH!!! This disgusts me sooooo much. Yea my fellas, what happened to yall! And yea, they call you all kind of sweet names, but then in the blink of an eye they call you some bad name!!! I feel you all the way.

In my experience, the immature, rude ones are always the most visible because they have the cajones to go right up to you and make their move! The sweet, nice ones respect you and don't get all up in your face. They wait, build up a little courage, look to see if YOU'RE interested, then approach you more subtly. You have to resist falling for the "players" who tend to take their shot the minute they see you, douse you with charm, and tell you everything you want to hear. If not, you won't even get to meet the nice guys.

Not all men are this way.
But alot of it has to do with media. Via music and TV, vast images of degrating women has become popular.
Some if it has to do with women of today. The women are not the same. They are more independant and more willing to go on with life without a man (I am not saying that is bad....) That indifference can lead a man to follow that example. Additionally, women tend to dress to a certain, "exposed" stereotype. Sometimes it is easier to treat a person as they appear, rather than by what they are.

Well I think we hear more bad stories about guys than good ones. Good ones are hard to find. Thats why you don't look! The nice ones always pop up from nowhere when you're not looking. But when you intentionally look, the guy you find end up like an ick.
Anyway to answer your question:
All the nice guys live in nice guy island.

not all of us are badasses. Try looking around for different guys if you want sweet and nice. A shy guy is usually sweet and nice and will open up if he gets a girl.
