Hello, I am going to be conducting a short interview with someone of a different faith then mine for information for a school paper. I am not asking for anyone to do my work for me but I am asking for ideas on what may be good questions to ask about in order to learn more about a faith other then mine. If anyone could throw a few ideas at me it might be helpful and give me something to think about. I want to research this so I can write the best paper I can so I must get ideas and ask the right questions.

Thanks!

What is the name of the god/s you believe in?

What are some of the tenets of your religion?

What holy books does your religion use?

When was it founded?

Where?

By whom?

Then, just for fun, ask them how many people have been killed in the name of their religion?

Two LDS missionaries were visiting homebound patients when they ran out
of gas. As luck would have it, a gas station was just a block away.

The two walked to the station to borrow a gas can and buy some gas. The
attendant said that the only gas can he owned had been lent out, but
they could wait until it was returned.

Since young men were on the way to see a patient, they decided not to
wait and walked back to the car. They looked for something in the car
that could be filled with gas and spotted the bedpan they were taking to
the patient.

Always resourceful, they carried the bedpan to the station, filled it
with gas, and carried the full bedpan back to the car.

While the missionaries were pouring the gas into the tank, two men
watched from across the street. One of the them turned to the other and
said, "If it starts, I'm turning Mormon

Ask ANY "faith" based religion (like christianity) to prove their beliefs. (don't worry, they wouldn't be able too!)
and christian "faith" is Blind Faith, because of the lack of proof, therefore, their "faith" is worthless, wasted time and energy!

Here's the Solution:

"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ

Create a private, personal, direct, divine relationship with Our Creator and save your Soul from religion.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truely Free!

Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!

I'd suggest you compare and contrast your gods, then ask yourselves: 'If there were only one god who loves all of humanity, then why wouldn't he make us all aware of who and what he was exactly?' Then ask, 'Why is that people of different faiths have a long history of intolerance and murder between each other? If god is good, surely he wouldn't let this happen.'
There you go. Good luck.

Ask about influences the religion has on culture, the religion's origin, how it affects believers every day life....

It would help us to know what religions you are talking about.

But one question would be to describe what a typical service of theirs includes, such as hymns or songs, talks/sermons, who leads the service, etc.
