You have a dual boot between windows 98 and XP.
You have both the operating system installed but sometimes only one is installed. You are able to access then only one. If u can access only one but the name of other appears then its a problem but if both the operating system are accessible then its not a problem

Do you have a win 98 disk in the cd rom? Maybe you have both windows installed. Hell bring it to me I will fix it.

homestead windows xp is a develop version than ninety 8. So u already put in ninety 8 in ur gadget. then that one kept in Cchronic it truly is root directry. If u opt for to position in Xp than ninety 8 u want to improve us os to xp. if u haven't any imp archives in ur computing gadget than format ur Cchronic and installation Xp. First u merely inspect ur Hardware Compatability record even if ur gadget helps Xp or no longer. Min criteria of Xp is 64MB RAM, 650MB difficult disk, Pentium onwards processor. 128MB RAM works properly.

If you just installed xp and you had 98 it wil cause this

since there are two operating system are installed on the system so when you start the system it is asking you to select the which operating do you want to start.

it could also be just ur bootini has both .. it doesnt necessarily mean both are installed ..
