the only thing that was wrong with British empire is Iraq. the rest was all going well. and yes it was in their favor, they couldn't support and defend all of them anymore. it was overly stretched. i think it was about 1/4 or 1/5 of the whole world. that's a lot of land to defend, especially when your subjects cant be trusted and you have no allies.
no wonder why they support USA like that today, they know what its like to be a super power. with allies like Britain on your side there is no way you can go down.
in my opinion they were the best invaders too, look at all the countries they invaded, all of them are peaceful and have a well educated people, at least most of them. and giving it up like that is a better idea than to give it up with force. they made a good decision, at least they now have an Allie rather than an enemy.

they dont have an empire! they only in vade, nobody wants them, brits out, what empire, no 1 wants the english, get out where their not wanted.
