Don't feel like the 2 of you are bad people. It is natural for boys and girls to like each other, and 200 years ago, 14 and 18 year olds were getting married. But people live a lot longer now and the world has changed a lot. Remember if you really love him, you will remeber that you can get him in a lot of trouble if you start sleeping together. It seems like the 2 of you really love each other since you haven't done anything sexual yet. It's difficult, but the 2 of you might be able to share time together w/o doing anything like that. Honestly, you are in a tough spot. I would say the best thing both of you can do is be honest with both your parents.

Well, there are laws that would say it's wrong. I don't know where you live, but some states give a 1 or 2 year grace period. You're talking 4!

I'm sure you're special, but ask yourself this: why would someone decide to hang out with someone much younger than they are? It's easy to understand why someone younger would want to hang with someone older (money, smart, funny, etc.), but why is he not looking for an equal around his age?

He's a predator. Although nothing sexual has happened yet, it will. 18 year olds are ALWAYS looking for something sexual.

...step AWAY from the 18 year olds!

My girlfriend is four years younger than me, so I think it can be okay, depending on the guy. I fell for this girl when she was 14 and I was 18. I didn't date her because I knew people would think I was creepy. I knew she had a crush on me, but I thought it was just a passing fancy. I waited until she was 16 before I tried to make a move on her, and she totally rejected me. Four years later(we stayed friends because her brothers are my best friends) she revealed that she liked me all along. Now I'm 24 and she's 20 and we're happily living together.

No, It's not okay. Doesn't matter if you haven't done anything sexual. He will end up in prison for being with a minor. Even if you say that the two of you haven't done anything and the popo found out they would automatically call it rape. You need to get out of the relationship now and just continue as friends.

If you are asking, don't you think something is wrong? How happy will an 18 year old male be without doing something that is inappropiate to be doing with a 14 year old? It's all good, sister, but don't expect the happily ever after bus to pull up anytime soon. If an when your parents find out, they are SURE to see something "wrong" no matter how much you play hands-off.

No...No... No!!!!
First of all you should still be in school, he should have graduated by now. You should just now be starting a social life with many opportunities to explore. He has already done so. He will have already learned them. He will know all the lines and things to say to get your attention (truth or not). By dating some one his age you are likely to end up in a social situation that you may not know how to get out of. sex is not and should not be a priority at your age, but I'll bet it is his. In most states it is also illegal for him to engage in a sexual relationship with you. Please consider friends your own age. By the time that you reach 18, you may find that I was right. Or ask him to wait until then to continue dating you. If he is your soul mate, waiting time will not be a problem.
Trust me on this one.

No, it's not. You haven't done anything sexual yet, but that could change. It's illegal for him. He can get tried as an adult for Statutory Rape. When it comes to relationships, age is never an issue unless someone in under age.

If he has good intentions and your parents like him, then it might be OK. But remember, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Just be careful.

I've seen people that young with that age gap. I don't approve of it. But, I guess its OK. It all depends on how he acts and what he does. You said you haven't done anything sexual...good you should keep it that way till your 18....at least with that age gap you should. For both yours and his sake. It would be different if you were 16 and he was 17 or 18.

I personally think that its a bad ideal... You may not have done anything sexual yet, but im sure him being 18 it says on his mind, or at least it would normal 18 year old. I think your to young for him, and you should date someone closer to your age. Im not sayin he would brake ur heart, but with a guy closer to ur age you wont feel so pressured into something that you might regret in long run. good luck!

I date older guys when i was your age, but i set my limits never have sex with them and if you feel pressure get out of the relationship because he does not really loves he will just want to use you. Be mature and smart don't do anything you will regret or that can have major consequences. Talk to your mom ask her if is okay for you to date some one older than you. I HATE TO SAY IT BUT MOTHERS WILL ALWAYS LEAD YOU IN THE RIGHT PATH. If she senses something wrong with the guy she will tell you and believe it or not they are alway right. In my case she always did!
