depending on the colors that you are using, you can get some tole are the fabric store as well as pretty ribbion make a pretty bow with the ribbion and put one of the flowers that you are using in the middle. A friend of mine and I did this for her wedding and when we got done it was just beautiful.
The tole goes over the back of the chair and back out the bottom part and then do the ribbion( the thicker the better)around a tie a bow and put a flower in the middle of it. Good luck and congraulations on your big day.

OK, you might as well just PASS ME THE POINTS, SISTER, because I have just the answer....cheap and beautiful.
WalMart (or any fabric store) sells tulle by the yard (Don't buy it in the crafts or Wedding section....much more expensive when they package it all up for you.)
Get some white (or off-white) tulle (it's that fabric that veils are made of, and it's about $1.25/yard) cut it into lengths that are about 1 1/2 yards long and about 12 inches wide, and then tie big bows on the backs of the chairs with the streamers hanging down 3/4 of the way. Tulle is a wonderful cheap decoration for *everything wedding*. It's so easy to make the bows because the fabric doesn't ravel, doesn't need sewing, doesn't wrinkle----easy to "fluff" the bow up so it's stiff and wedding-y.
You could buy 10 yards of tulle for about 15.00 and do some great decorating.
Cheers!

I'm going to be honest with you. People will see and sit in these chairs for about 20-30 minutes. Decorating them would cost you much more in time and money and its not going to be worth it. Spend the money on something else and dont bother with the chairs for your ceremony. If they are white, thats enough. Your guests will not appreciate the time and effort put into ceremony chair decorations, dont waste your valuable time, energy and money on something that people wont even notice.

You can do chair covers--most places will rent them, but I don't know how much they cost. The only other thing you could do is add bows, but I'm not sure how that will dress up white aluminum chairs!
Your best bet is chair covers.

Get crafty and go to Michaels and get yourself some matching flowers (like wedding party apparel) and a glue gun or make bows to give that polished look for the chairs and make it like a Mid Summer Night's Dream. Good luck.

Get shiny silver or gold ribbon whatever matches your colors) and put plenty of ribbon about 12 inches long dangling down from the chair backs. Curl it and it will be very elegant.
If you want to spend the money, tie flowers to the edge of the isle seats.
Here's an article that might help, too....

How about white chair covers...they are linen, cotton, if you can sew you could make them or rent them.
